Lambeth 2026 Selections

Your candidates for Clapham Town ward

We are selecting our candidates for key wards in preparation for 2026 elections to Lambeth Council.

This includes selecting candidates for your ward of Clapham Town. Note that the selectorate for each ward is Liberal Democrat members in that ward.

Clapham Town is a three-member ward.

We have accepted one nomination for this selection, whose name and nomination statement follows

James Mann:

"Having grown up in and around Lambeth, I have seen the borough being let down and taken for granted by Labour and I would love to help play my part in making it an even better place to live.

I have strong campaign experience as the Campaign Organiser in Wimbledon for almost two years."

Members of the Clapham Town ward will receive their ballot to vote in this selection immediately following the online “Meet the Candidates Q&A” on Tuesday 14th January at 7pm. They will have two weeks to cast their vote.

Following the completion of this ballot, unfilled spaces in our key wards will be allocated to approved candidates at the discretion of the 2025 Executive Committee.
